| Michael and Louise Westmacott
would like extend a warm welcome to their home, Craigbrae Farmhouse.
Situated just seven miles from Edinburgh city centre, which is
either a 20-minute drive or a 15-minute train ride from Dalmeny
Station close by, Craigbrae is effectively closer to Edinburgh City
Centre than some B&Bs actually located in Edinburgh.
The location is ideal for visitors seeking a quiet, tranquil base
with a view to exploring Edinburgh, central Scotland, Fife and the
Borders. Craigbrae also commands the perfect start point for trips
further north to the Highlands. Alternatively, the location is a
convenient driving distance from nearly all Scotland’s top
golf courses. In short, we are in a very central position.
The house is also ideal for business people, who will enjoy the
comfort of Craigbrae after a hectic day at work away from the hustle
and bustle of city centre Edinburgh.
South Queensferry, overlooking the famous Forth Bridge over the
Firth of Forth is a mile and a half away and has myriad restaurants
from traditional Scottish to seafood, Italian and bistro-style eating
and drinking. Tariffs at these restaurants are very much more competitive
than in Edinburgh with no compromise to some very high quality cuisine.
Our rates start from as little as £40 per person per night,
including a full Scottish breakfast cooked to order by Louise who
is Cordon Bleu trained.
Enjoy the Craigbrae website, and we look forward to hearing from
you soon.
